In January
2008 we gave a lunchtime concert at the Turner Simms
concert hall in Southampton university, followed by a
workshop with all the string players on the undergraduate
performance course. In the workshop we focussed on
Swedish dance music. Eléonore taught the group two tunes,
each with two parts. It was an able group of players and
we managed this in just 2 hours. After the workshop we
talked a little about our instruments and the students
were able to play them.
