hardianger violin and violin. She was the first French
musician to study the nyckelharpa at the Eric
Salhstrom Institute, the only specialist nyckelharpa
course in the world, and during her time there she
made her first nyckelharpa and has since made a
children’s nyckelharpa and a moraharpa (a medieval
nyckelharpa) in the workshop of Jean-Claude Condi. She
now teaches on up to 6 nyckelharpa courses a year in
France. She collaborates with musicians from many
different disciplines and last year recorded CDs with
the singer and pianist, Celine Castano, and the
harpist, Christophe Sauniere, which include her own
arrangements and compositions. Other collaborations
include Cordenstock (traditional Swedish and French
music), Boann (Irish and Swedish music) and Polichenel
(an electric baroque trip hop group using electronics
and multi-media). She was the artistic director of
Regain, a new project which uses music, film,
contemporary dance techniques, electronic sound and
lighting in projects with farmers in the eastern part
of France.
